Our toddlers are busy little learners and becoming more independent.

It’s a time that language is developing and play is changing. Children develop through 6 stages of play, and at the toddler phase they are becoming more confident about themselves and where they fit in the world.

Role play areas, stories, singing, small world play and lots of art and craft support their memory building and language skills.They are curious and busy but still need the routines of sleep, nappy changes and encouragement to eat and try new foods.

Our educators support our toddlers in what can be an emotional time in their development. Toilet training is a big part of the support we give at this time of development.
